Join Strong’s Marine for our 3rd Annual Strong Women on the Water educational event series!  We believe in empowering our women clients and team members to feel comfortable on the water and support the opportunity to gain on water education and experience.  

EVENT DETAILS: Each session is 2 hours on the water in one of our fleet boats where you will get hands-on experience.  You will have the opportunity to get all your questions answered, hone your skills and take the helm. 

DATES & TOPICS:  

Sat, April 27, 10am - 12pm – Navigation: On water experience learning about aids to navigation, rules of the water and anchoring.  

Sat, May 4, 10am - 12pm – Troubleshooting: Learn about what to do when the weather changes and you need to make it back to the dock.

Sat, May 11, 10am - 12pm – Docking: Practice your docking skills, setting dock lines and more (“slow is pro”!).

Last summer’s Movies in the Park was so successful that Mattituck Park District is now hosting two nights of movies! Each presentation will feature a first run General Audience movie presented outdoors on a giant screen. Ice cream treats from Magic Fountain and popcorn will be available for the kids. Admission is Free and open to the General Public. Movies in the Park will be from 7:45 – 9:15 (approx.).
